Hopefully, yesterday was a bit of a turning point for my little one. I was able to get her to nap in her own bed yesterday afternoon, and put her to bed for the night in her own bed, as well. She did wake up with a bad dream at about 3:00 a.m., but once again, I was able to escort her right back into bed, and comfort her enough for her to fall right back to sleep.
And that was it! Only once! Hallelujiah!
Maybe, just maybe, that was the beginning of better things to come. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
She drew me some pictures of all of her "monsters". If I can find them, I'll scan them in so you all can see them. I've got to tell you, if I ran into any of those butt-ugly things in my dreams, I'd wake up screaming bloody murder, too!
